Dr. Sher Bahadur Pun, an accomplished infectious disease expert, has been bestowed with the International Health Service Award – 2022, established by the NRNA Non-Resident Nepali Association. Dr. Pun has been recognized for his significant efforts in creating public awareness about preventive measures for infectious diseases, including the publication and dissemination of informative materials to aid in the treatment of Nepalis affected by afflictions like COVID-19 and dengue fever. The International Health Services Award – 2022 was presented to Dr. Pun at a special ceremony organized by the Deurali Foundation in Madi, Chitwan district. This award entails a monetary prize of USD 1100 along with a copper memento.
