Mr. Birendra Mahato, an exemplary teacher and school administrator, has been honored with the International Education Service Award – 2022, established by the NRNA Non-Resident Nepali Association. After the basic school in Ratani Dhobaha, which caters to children from marginalized castes, was damaged during the rainy season floods, Mr. Mahato dedicated his efforts to build a new school by securing land donations and gathering international support. This school, recognized as a model institution within Madi Municipality, is fully equipped with necessary facilities. The International Education Service Award – 2022 was presented to Principal Mahato as a token of high appreciation for his remarkable contributions to education. The award includes a copper plate and a monetary prize of USD 1100.
